HoosierDevil proudly provides support to the following events:
Balsam Range Art of Music Festival
The 4th annual Balsam Range Art of Music Festival will be held December 6-7 on the grounds of the beautiful Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center in Haywood County, NC. This two day musical event will celebrate the diverse art of music. Each evening will include a concert featuring some of the top nationally touring artists in the field of bluegrass and acoustic music. On Saturday afternoon, many workshops will be held ranging from individual instrument instructional workshops to handcrafted instrument building. Come visit Haywood County, home of Balsam Range, in December!
Earl Scruggs, noted for popularizing a three-finger banjo picking style, was a defining characteristic of bluegrass music. This two-day event celebrating Scruggs is a collaboration between the Earl Scruggs Center located in Shelby, NC and WNCW radio station located on the campus of Isothermal Community College. The festival will include music from bluegrass, folk, and Americana styles.
We're also proud to have been involved with these past events:
Strings & Suds Music Fest
Pisgah Brewing Company and HoosierDevil presented Strings & Suds Music Fest on August 23rd and 24th at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, NC! This festival featured bluegrass, Americana, alt-country, and more in a beautiful setting along with craft beer, local food, and carefully curated vendors.
HoosierDevil provided promotional support to the Chantilly Farm Bluegrass & BBQ Festival, taking place Memorial Day Weekend in Floyd, VA.
The Chantilly Farm Bluegrass & BBQ Festival has caught the attention of fans from around the country by its stellar lineup that is heavy on traditional bluegrass and the preservation of old-time and heritage music, but with more progressive bands also added to the mix. The festival has long served as the official home festival of Mountain Fever recording artist, Southwest Virginia native, and multi-award winner, Junior Sisk.
“It has always been a true honor to call this my home festival,” says Sisk. “Each year they put together a great lineup, and the festival really strives to create a great experience for every single person that comes through the gate. That’s not something you see at every event you attend."
