Let's talk about something new

Hey, y'all! Maggie Rainwater here with HoosierDevil... and today I want to talk to you about something a little bit different. Something that isn't the usual design & promotion stuff - but something just as near and dear to my heart. Let's talk about organization and productivity!

But first... here's a quick roundup of some awesome clients!

What comes to mind when you hear the phrase "to-do list?"

Frustration? Worry? Fear? That feeling of having so many things to do that you're going to take a nap and try again tomorrow?

These are all feelings that I've experienced in my life. I've had multiple jobs for as long as I can remember. When I moved to Asheville, at one point I was doing four jobs on top of freelancing in the music industry. Then two years ago I became a business owner, and one year ago I left my last service industry gig and became a full-time remote worker. Throughout the years I've tried all sorts of things for staying organized. I've had the big planner with all the bells and whistles and I've had the trusty old post-it notes all over my desk and everything in between. I've always managed to stay on top of all my tasks and jobs and responsibilities... but I remember feeling like I'd never get ahead. Like my life was an endless cycle based around an ever-expanding to-do list.

If you're waiting for an a-ha moment... there isn't one. I'm not here to tell you that I figured out this one thing that magically transformed me into a slayer of to-do lists. I am here to tell you that through trial, error, practice, advice, research, and caffeine.. I've created an organization system that has finally freed me from that big scary to-do list. It's been a process, and I can't say exactly when I began feeling this shift in my productivity and organization... but I do remember what got it started.

I'd just signed on with the full-time job I have now, and I was on a training call with my new boss. Once we'd finished all the work stuff, she asked me if I'd heard of this productivity solution she liked and took an extra few minutes to show me some of the features. And while the heavens didn't open up and no angels started singing... this particular free platform was the starting point for conquering my to-do list.

Today, this free online solution is part of my personal organization system that helps me stay stress-free while boosting my productivity and freeing up more time and mental energy for the things I love - like serving my clients!

In addition to running HoosierDevil, I'm also still full-time in the tech support world. I'm often asked how I keep track of everything and how my friends and family can simplify their to-do lists too. And now I'm excited to share that I've put together a peek into my personal organization system - in the form of three FREE tools you can implement TODAY to kickstart your own productivity journey.

Download my guide here - did I mention it’s free?!

I'm so excited to share these tools with you, and I'd love to hear what you do with them. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Happy organizing!
